Three Speakers to Watch

speakerstowatchLooking for Fresh Talent? Check Out a Trio of Up-and-Coming Speakers Today

Catch a glimpse of three of today’s best and brightest up-and-coming speakers at Convening Leaders again this year. “3 Speakers to Watch” happens today from 1:45-2:45 p.m.

The speakers’ identities won’t be revealed until they take the stage. PCMA does this so attendees come in with an open mind and a fresh perspective — and to provide an  element of surprise that helps speakers shine. “Reading about a speaker is not the same as seeing that person present live,” said Kelly Peacy, CAE, CMP, senior vice president of education and events for PCMA.

PCMA works with three of its speaker-bureau partners to find this new talent, with fees that are affordable for the majority of the audience — less than $10,000. Each speaker will present a 15-minute snapshot of his or her standard talk, focusing on broad topics to appeal to a wide range of people and keeping it entertaining, inspirational, and fun.

Through this program, attendees have the opportunity to see three great speakers they otherwise probably wouldn’t have heard of — until everyone else has, and booking fees rise. It’s also an opportunity to demonstrate how PCMA showcases a variety of topics at the same time — allowing attendees to gather ideas about session content and delivery.

Even if you’re not in the market for a new speaker, you’ll still benefit from this session. “Even if people aren’t looking to book a speaker,” Peacy said, “they can still come for the inspiration and walk away with some good takeaways and nuggets of information.”
